Mixed-use residential/retail/office development project incorporating heritage listed bank building in Sydney Road, Brunswick. CPS Vargaconsult have been engaged by the developer to provide consulting engineering services including mechanical, electrical, communications, security, hydraulics, fire services and ESD services.

 

The Bank Brunswick project stretches across 3 property titles and integrates the existing heritage listed bank building into the 6-storey development. The concept includes 2 separate building blocks adjoined by bridges, 2 retail, 1 café with kitchen on ground floor, 3 office spaces on first floor and 16 apartment units above on second to fifth floors in the western block and approx. 42 vehicles capacity fully EV-charger ready car stacking car parking system with 2 additional accessible car spaces and 44 bike racks on ground floor and 18 apartment units above on first to fifth floors in the eastern block. The development is served by 2 passenger lifts, plus associated switchroom, plant and services rooms, amenities, bins, lockers, stairs, etc. Landscaping including communal gardens, planter boxes and alike.

 

Building services include all site infrastructure connections such as electricity, cold water, trade waste and sewer drainage, associated authority and embedded metering, photovoltaic power generation, fire booster, fire tanks, hydrant and hose reels, fire sprinkler, smoke detection and smoke alarm systems, NBN fibre optic distribution, free-to-air and cable TV services, general fresh-air ventilation, exhaust air extraction and air-conditioning systems, general lighting and power, security services including CCTV and intercom services.
