Brownfield redeployment of Ready-To-Drink (RTD) assets from SA to Vic. The project includes a new Alcohol Tank Farm (ATF) to be constructed externally on the Vic site to house neat spirit within tanks that have been redeployed. This alcohol tank farm is defined as hazardous area and has been designed to AS1940. Further mixing tanks, ingredient dosing stations and CIP set have also been installed internally within the existing factory to enable RTD production to be wholly manufactured within the Vic facility.

Vargaconsult provided consultant engineering services including on-site lighting level surveys and the design of the general purpose and task lighting as well as the emergency and directional evacuation lighting systems. The project required handling of highly explosive areas and modelling of complex spaces and structures for lighting design purposes. Further BCA compliance review and reporting on the internal air-conditioning and ventilation systems were also carried out. Our objective was to ensure the project achieves final compliance with the relevant Australian safety standards.
