Corporate Office & Warehouse

Corporate office and warehouse redevelopment project for owner builder client. Vargaconsult have been engaged to provide consulting engineering services for all building services disciplines including mechanical, electrical, communications, security, fire safety, hydraulics as well as ESD services.

 

Redevelopment works include reconfiguration of the existing single storey brick building aiming to create new modern office and meeting spaces as well as a representative entry foyer and reception with a water feature wall. Furthermore, refurbishment of the existing semi-detached warehouse with the addition of a new internal double-storey administration block comprising extra showroom, offices and amenities. Externally, the resurfacing of driveway and site car park, creation of disabled parking spaces, addition of outdoor gym, courtyard and barbeque breakout spaces.

 

Building services works include upgrade and reconfiguration of existing primary electricity supply and installation of new photo-voltaic secondary supply system, removal of existing on-site high pressure gas regulator assembly, installation of new power, communications and lighting reticulations, security and access control systems, fresh air ventilation and air-conditioning systems, hot, cold and tepid water, sewerage reticulations, fire hydrants and hose reels.

During the project a fine balance is needed to maintain in order to achieve client satisfaction in creating a modern corporate office environment as well as maintaining the practical warehouse aspect of the site while keeping to a fairly tight budget.
