CPS Vargaconsult is an independent specialist building services professional engineering practice with no affiliations to any other firms or organisations other than professional and regulatory bodies such as Building and Licensing Authorities.

Formed by an acquisition between CPS Services Consultants, founded and headed by Bill Saunders, a professional mechanical engineer since 1973, and Vargaconsult of Peter Varga, a professional electrical consultant since 2003, CPS Vargaconsult stands as a Melbourne CBD based multidisciplinary engineering practice providing full-service mechanical, electrical, communications, security, fire safety and hydraulics engineering consultancy within the building services sector. The firm also has expertise and provides ESD consultancy.

Our practice, with a current workforce of 9 people, comprises qualified professional engineers and technical staff supported by the extensive use of the latest computer aided design and collaboration technologies.

At CPS Vargaconsult we pride ourselves on working closely with our clients. Our practice is small and our projects are directly run by our principal engineers who personally design and document all our projects. Delegating briefing and design tasks to less senior staff is not part of the firm’s approach. It is a great honour in our view to continue receiving positive testimonials from our clients.
