Our engineers provided electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and fire detection services for Dan Murphy’s new retail outlet development, located in the city centre of Wangaratta, Victoria.
Major development steps included subdivision of the existing land and demolition of the existing Wangaratta Plaza building, liaison with supply authorities for the creation of easements and to negotiate and confirm proposed new water and sewage connections, re-supply of existing high-voltage substation, new low-voltage electrical power supply as well as new fibre optic communications incoming to site.
Building services included all authority supplies and associated metering, low-voltage primary electrical supply, stand-by diesel generator, uninterruptible power supply, power factor correction, power and communications reticulations, general interior and retail area shop lighting, external, landscape and carpark lighting, programmable energy management system, security, closed circuit television, public address, background music and customer call systems, fresh air ventilation and air conditioning systems, cold and domestic hot water, sanitary plumbing, condensate and stormwater drainage, fire hydrants and hose reels, fire detection and occupant warning systems.
